Egypt Free Shops Company is an Egyptian shareholding company established in 1975 and regulated by Egypt’s Private Sector Law.
The company started as part of Egypt Air, specializing in sales of all duty free products. After separation from Egypt Air, it became a public sector company supervised by the government until it was privatized in 1997.
Currently, Egypt Free Shops Company is one of the three major Egyptian companies allowed to import and sell duty free products, including alcoholic beverages, fragrances, tobacco, confectionery – chocolates, Home Appliances, Kitchenware and many others.
Egypt Free Shops Company’s customers include tourists, diplomats and experts residing in Egypt, and nationals returning from overseas. The company also provides Egyptian Hotels, Restaurants and Gastronomical Industry with alcoholic beverages at moderate customs duties.
