Dubai, UAE – The Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) announces the revamping of its Logo after the change in name of the association.

The name change is in line with the Board’s decision to extend its membership to the African Continent. MEADFA has played a paramount role in channeling the Duty Free industry in the Middle East; is now aiming to grow its representation and is driven to showcase the African region.

MEADFA’s mission is to serve its members through a permanent instrumental platform to promote the business potential and global standing of the Middle East and Africa Duty Free & Travel Retail industry.

Partnering to impact, we are powered to expand. MEADFA aims to create a wider business networking and collaboration platform by growing our membership while maintaining a position as one of the leading Duty Free & Travel Retail Associations in the world.

MEADFA President, Sean Staunton stated: “We are proud to introduce our new logo. We think it is fresh and vibrant and ties in perfectly with the inclusion of Africa”.

Simple and clear, it was designed in Dark Blue and Gold, two powerful coloursreflecting the openness and the dynamism of the region which is represented by the map depicted therein. This is complemented by the round shape which completes the symbolic meaning of unity, nurturing and wholeness.
